Welcome to the ZDS Very Informal Summer Run Blog, where you can find the latest updates on the next ZDS Summer run. The main goal of this race is to raise money each year for 2 great causes. The first is Children's Hospital, who took amazing care of my nephew, Zach (the "Z" in ZDS), when he was born with a very rare condition, a KHE Lesion, and they have been amazing with his continued care as well. The second is the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation - I was diagnosed with colitis almost 20 years ago and this organization does great work in the search for better treatments and cures. I am the "D" in ZDS. The "S" is our silent benefactor.

Our goal each year is to have a very informal 10 mile run in the late summer. This year's race is on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. on the Loveland Bike Trail. The race starts at Nisbet Park and goes from the old 9 mile marker north to the old 14 mile marker and back. All of the registration fee, except the cost of the T-Shirt will be donated to Children's Hospital and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. All other costs are being paid by either donations or the race sponsors, so that we can maximize the donations.
The flyer and registration forms are included above - the are in JPEG form. You can copy them and print them off to send back to me.
I hope to have a great run.
David
